FAI Youth Certificate Course

Hi people,

I have attended to FAI Youth Certificate Course couple of week ago. Which I find where helpful for people who want to be coach.

Course is taking 4 days. 9 in morning and finish 6 o'clock in evening. Mostly time on pitch working Defending, Attacking, Finishing.

Course fee is 300 Euro and there is no any other charges. You also get 1 year free access to  TactX software for build up drills. Which I own full access before and I didn't find useful or I cannot use. It's really hard to use. Anyway I will write another post for Tact X  :)

At the beinging of course, you put your name on the course sheet, receive little booklet for your notes and Small Side Games, course PDF presentation.

What do you need in course ?
  1.  Little notebook for taking notes and important points
  2. Your football boots or astro pitch shoes, you will be on the pitch nearly all day . Do coaching and involved to drills
  3. Water and snack, sandiwiches for your lunch ( Tea and coffee there as free)
Some class room activites and questions & answers. Then some build up activites from mentor playing with all class. All coach get to know each other. Afternoon getting on pitch and start working on Small Side Games. 1v1, 2v1, 3v1, 4v2, 5v2 and some more combination on defending. End of the day backing in class room and summarise day and every coach receive on topics for next day to put on the pitch and coaching.

First and third day, you do coaching on Small sige games withh little drills. On the fourth day, you do coaching 5v5 game with topic given. This could be good defending, attacking, combination, cross over, over laps.

After 4 day course. Mentors give you 3 topics for final assessment and date, place. Than you need lots of practice for your topics. In assesment day, they will decide which one of them. You will do coaching.
You will have 15 minute in your final assestment.

I try to keep short and sweet. Hope you will enjoy. If you have any question, please let me know, I will try to answer.

Thanks
